Hi members of L.I.K.A. my name is Maria Franco, it is a pleasure to meet you, I am 15 years old and I am studying in Joan Orò, Lleida. Since a few years ago I have begun to realize the inequality between women and men, also that it is unfair, we should all have the same rights and be free without anyone prohibiting or limiting us, so I decided to be a feminist. This word sometimes frightens people or angers them, because few know what it really means, people think that to be a feminist is to have the power to believe that you are superior to man, but this is not true, with this word we define equality and that is why I am very interested in the institution of L.I.K.A because as the name says: freedom, equality, coeducation in action is exactly my opinion of how society should be.

I like this association because claim, solicit, denounce and demand what they think is right or wrong. Also they address the issue of LGBT phobias, social, institutional and labor, aggressions, humiliations, marginalization or exclusions. Then the issue of guidance in families and young people, on coeducation, machista violence and feminism. in addition to all this assosiation also makes talks and workshops and collaborate with other associations suchas for example legal abortion, marea lila and juventut de lleida.

The reasons why I write this letter is that every day people have to be well informed of the situation in which we are and that we have to put a solution because enough people do not realize and that there are places like this in which they can inform or ask for help if they need it and because
I love the intentions they have and the arguments they give.

I think I would be a good volunteer in this program because I am quite informed about this topic, I am very patient and empathic and I love listening and giving advices to people. I am very fighting and optimistic, I always say what I think but with education. I send you a video of myself portrait to get to know me with more details.
